The Dashboard

The dashboard in Upswing CRM provides advisors with a graphical snapshot of what's happening and what needs to be done. Tasks, events, special dates, opportunities, projects and recent activity allow advisors and other users in the firm to stay on top of various activities.

Calendar

Whether for an advisor or a firm, the Upswing calendar coordinates when it's happening and more. Scheduled meetings, phone calls or emails are all events that can be tracked. Upswing's calendar with drag-and-drop functionality allows advisors to quickly create, locate and manage their own schedule as well as their team members' so that everyone stays in sync. Within Upswing advisors can easily invite other team members to share and collaborate on events. 

Contacts Home

Contacts in Upswing allow advisors to store detailed contact information about people along with other pertinent financial advisory-related data. Advisors can create a contact database from scratch or import their contacts from existing programs, such as Outlook, ACT, Goldmine, etc. 

Tasks

A task in Upswing is an activity that needs to be accomplished within a defined period of time. A task could be to "write proposal" or "send 401K quote." With just a few clicks, advisors can quickly and easily assign tasks to themselves and other team members.  

Files

Files such as a PDF brochure or Word document can be stored in Upswing. The files repository allows an advisor to have a central and secure location to access and manage files and keep track of different versions that a team may access centrally.  

Reports

Upswing enables customizable reports in all the modules. Advisors can pick from the 65 standard reports provided to them from the system, such as "Clients by number of referrals," or they can customize any report based on any criteria from the system. For instance, if an advisor wanted to target all of his or her "A clients" who had an interest in "golf" for a client-appreciation event, he/she could generate the report within Upswing's report wizard.

Opportunities

The opportunities section of Upswing allows advisors to create and monitor special deal situations to track in Upswing. An opportunity could be a College Planning Package, a Retirement Plan, or a 401K an advisor is working on for a company. Upswing's opportunities module allow advisors and other team members to easily manage the sales pipeline from start to close.     

Projects

Upswing's projects allow advisors to collaborate on special initiatives that they set up for their firm, such as a marketing campaign. Advisors and their team members can easily assign and track tasks, events, and milestones for a given project and come together in this centralized workspace.
